| KNITTED METAL WIRE |
 |
Knitted Metal wire is a robust and heat-resistant material with excellent resilience, strength and filtration qualities.
Moreover its flexibility allows an easier handling and fitting around irregular shapes.
Our knitted metal wire and related knitted mesh elements meet a wide range of customer's needs in several applications, including: catalytic converter support mesh, spacer mesh rings for double pipe, joint sealing rings, gaskets, noise attenuators, EMI/RFI shielding, pressure reducers, shock absorbers, compensation elements in thermal stressed components, filtering elements for air/gas/liquid, protective fabrics.
With our wide range of industrial knitting equipments we can manufacture a mesh structure of asymmetric interlocking loops in different materials and with different characteristics.
We can produce any kind of knitted mesh, plain or rippled, in circular wire or rolled wire, in diameter typically between 0.10mm and 0.40mm, in the following different main materials: mild steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel Series Aisi 300 (304, 309, 310, 314, 316..), Series aisi 400, inconel, aluminium, copper, brass, kevlar…
Wire material, compression characteristics, mesh pattern, corrugated crimps are studied for each applications in order to optimising product features.
Combination of metals, alloys and composite materials may be used to achieve the desired characteristics of the parts against corrosion, temperature, ageing, mechanical stress.
